India wants a President with a therapeutic contact, stated Congress as Sonia Gandhi reached out to different Opposition leaders forward of polls.

Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi has reached out to Opposition leaders together with NCP chief Sharad Pawar and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee over the upcoming presidential polls.

After discussions, Sonia Gandhi has deputed Chief of Opposition (LoP) Mallikarjun Kharge to co-ordinate with different leaders since she is down with Covid.

The Congress is of the opinion that the nation wants a President who can defend the Structure, democratic establishments and residents from the continuing onslaught by the ruling occasion.

Whereas the grand outdated occasion has not urged a specific title, it stated it owes it to individuals to elect a President who can apply a ‘therapeutic contact’ to India’s ‘fractured social material’.
